Williams JIM eSports is pleased to announce its first endurance event hosted by SimRacingLegue.it. Three hours of pure competition on one of the most iconic tracks in the world: the temple of speed. HPD ARX-01C and ASTON MARTIN DBR9 GT1 will be protagonists of a challenge with an antique flavor, reserved for international community on iRacing. Live race commission and iDollars prizes reserved for first three of each class, in addition to prizes offered by sponsors. All this on November 30, 2019, on SRL TV live for the whole event with english and italian commentary.

1. REGISTRATION

1.1 PROCEDURES AND REGISTRATION FEE

Event registration must be done by filling fields at page bottom .
Event is reserved for Teams from a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 6 drivers.
Event will take place only when at least 20 Teams have been registered 3 days before event.
Participation fee is set at $10 (in the form of a donation to SRL) per Team (not per driver) upon payment of which you will be redirected to when registration data is sent. Each Team will have to perform an independent registration by a driver in charge who must necessarily have an account on SimRacingLeague.it portal.
Case of cancellation of event or withdrawal of the Team at least one day before race, SRL will refound participation fee. In other cases, no reimbursement is envisaged.
Sending registration data will be confirmed by email.
Registration confirmation, following verification of the data entered and payment of the participation fee by SRL, will be notified via email.
Any change to registration data as a modification of the car or addition / modification of drivers must be requested via email to info@simracingleague.it.
For participation, at least one driver from each team must possess License D 4.0 and iRating 2000.

2. SPORTING CODE

2.1 ALLOWED CARS AND RESTRICTIONS

The following cars are allowed:
- LMP2: HPD Arx-01c
- GT1: Aston martin DBR9
Restrictions
- LMP2: 75% fuel – 0 kg
- GT1: 75% fuel – 0 kg
Organization reserves the right to make further balances upon notice.

2.2 FINAL POSITION OF DNF AND DQ

For final standing only drivers indicated as “running” will be valid.
DNF (Disconnected) and DQ (disqualified) drivers will be placed at the bottom of standing based on the final race report provided by iRacing.
For anything not expressly provided, see the General Rules.

2.3 DRIVING CONDUCT

For what is not expressly foreseen herein, valid driving code for this event is the one adopted by SRL and can be consulted here.
OVERTAKING
1. The fastest class driver is required to overtake the slowest class so that he can bypass the overtaken safely.
2. Driver of the slower class is required to maintain a consistent and predictable race line, as well as to facilitate overtaking.
3. If in the overtaking phase a position is unjustly obtained, as in the case of overtaking beyond the limits of the track or contact, it is possible to avoid penalties by returning the position.
TRACK LIMITS
1. Rack limits are defined by iRacing, however each driver must remain in contact with the race surface with at least half the car at any time.
2. Exit from track limits is allowed only in case of entry / exit from pit lane or to avoid an accident.
BLOCKING
1. Move from your own line in response to movements of the chasing car or change line in defense and then return to the competition line in the braking area is forbidden.
DANGEROUS RACING
1. Driver who creates a dangerous situation, such as, for example, unsafe rejoin after a loss of control or accident, can be warned or penalized.
ACCIDENTS AND TOWING
1. Case of damage caused by an accident, it is the driver’s responsibility to evaluate opportunity to continue the race or not.
2. It is possible return to the pits for repairs by completing the turn only if damage still allows for complete control of the car and its pace is not less than 50% of the racing pace.
3. In other cases, driver must request “towing” as soon as possible.

3. LIVE RACE COMMISSION

3.1 GENERAL

For event there will be a live race commission made up of several stewards who will monitor activity on the track.
Commission has ability to impose penalties at driversin relation to behavior on the track that can harm competition.
It is up to the stewards to show black flag to drivers who represent a risk for other competitors, both for their driving behavior, and for the race pace lower than 112% to that of the class leader and, also, for relative issues to his internet connection. Team will be advised so that it can take action and / or return its car to pits and swap driver. In case of persistence of identified problems, Team will be disqualified.

3.2 ACCIDENTS

Race commission will assess incidents when stewards assist directly, when iRacing records a contact (4x) or when a team reports it.
Decisions taken by the commission will be published in an online document made available to all Teams and communicated to team through a Discord message.
Accident report must be sent by team within 15 minutes from event completing the online document. Report must necessarily contain:
- cars involved
- type of accident
- timestamp (detectable in the simulator replay toolbar)
Any incomplete report will be deleted without notice.
Reports that will arrive in the last 15 minutes of the race will be evaluated in the post race.
Any decision taken by the commission is final and unquestionable.
Any notices, penalties, stop&go or stop&hold imposed during race cannot be appealed either during or after the race.

3.3 PENALTIES DURING RACE

Penalties imposed by the competition commission must be discounted during green flag time.
Teams have 45 minutes to serve penalty.
It is possible serve penalty during a regular pit stop.
Teams must notify stewards of the time from which they wish to serve penalty within three (3) laps. The commission will then issue the penalty through iRacing.
If penalty is not discounted within 45 minutes, penalty time will be doubled.
If penalty is not discounted during the race, penalty time will be added in the post race.
Penalties imposed directly by the simulator cannot be modified in any way by the commission.

4. COMMUNICATION CHANNEL

4.1 COMMUNICATIONS

Official announcements by the steward will be made via iRacing on radio channel @RACECONTROL.
Use of voice or text chat on @drivers, @allteams and @club channels is prohibited during qualifying and competition sessions.
It is also forbidden send direct messages to a driver by another participant during qualifying and race sessions.
Penalties for use of audio and text chat in the above sessions are at discretion of stewards.

4.2 OFFICIAL CHANNEL

Official communication channel is Simracingleague Discord server reachable at the following URL: https://discord.gg/GUg5ygX.
Before event, will be created a channel for each team.
All Team members must be available on the server throughout the race.
Communications by commission will take place directly via Discord on Team channel.

5. PENALTY

5.1 PENALTY

For violations of driving code of conduct, penalties will be applied in time to be added to the total race time.
durations of penalty are in principle those indicated below, but may be changed at the discretion of stewards in relation to circumstances and to the possible repetition of the behavior.
EXCEEDING TRACK LIMITS
- 1st violation: Warning
- 2nd violation: Time penalty based on off-track time
DANGEROUS RACING
- 1st violation: Warning
- 2nd violation: penalty 5 seconds
- 3rd violation and subsequent: Previous penalty +10 seconds
LIABILITY IN ACCIDENT
- 1st violation: From 5 to 60 seconds of penalty in relation to severity of the contact
- 2nd violation: Previous penalty +30 seconds in relation to severity of the contact

6. POST RACE PROTEST

6.1 PROTEST PROCEDURES

It’s possible send a protest for an event on track not previously evaluated even after the end of the race.
The deadline for the submission of the protest is 24 hours after the day of the race (therefore at 11:59 pm on Sunday 1st December) by email to rc@simracingleague.it from the email address of the driver/team who made the registration.
Protest must necessarily contain:
- replay file related to the incident (not entire session)
- a brief description of dynamics
Race Commision will examine the protest and publish decisions through an official report.
Post-race penalties can be challenged by the sanctioned Team within the 24 hours following publication of report. The appeal must be sent to rc@simracingleague.it.

7. PRIZES

7.1 PRIZES

At end of event and after publication of final report, winners of each class will receive the corresponding prizes in form of iRacing Dollars.
Awards mentioned below consider a total of 50 participating teams and may undergo variations in relation to the number of partecipants.
- 1st Class: $100
- 2nd Class: $50
- 3rd Class: $25
Sponsors of event will also be giving away items and / or discount vouchers for purchase of products, with distribution that will be announced later and that may be based on the final order of arrival or on special rankings (eg fair play, best lap etc.)

1. REGISTRAZIONE

1.1 procedure e quota di registrazione

La registrazione all’evento deve essere effettuata compilando i campi in fondo a questa pagina.
L’evento è riservato a Team da un minimo di 2 ad un massimo di 6 piloti.
L’evento avrà luogo solo al raggiungimento di almeno 20 Team iscritti a 3 giorni dall’evento.
La quota di partecipazione è fissata a $10 (in forma di donazione a SRL) per Team (non per pilota) al pagamento della quale si verrà reindirizzati al momento dell’invio dei dati. Ogni team dovrà eseguire autonoma registrazione da parte di un pilota incaricato che deve necessariamente possedere un account sul portale SimRacingLeague.it.
In caso di annullamento dell’evento o di ritiro del team almeno il giorno precedente alla gara SRL rimborserà la quota di partecipazione. Negli altri casi non è previsto alcun rimborso.
L’invio dei dati di registrazione sarà confermato via email
La conferma dell’iscrizione, a seguito di verifica dei dati inseriti e del versamento della quota di partecipazione da parte di SRL, sarà notificato via email.
Qualsiasi modifica all’iscrizione come modifica dell’auto o aggiunta/modifica dei piloti del team, deve essere richiesta via email a info@simracingleague.it.
Per la partecipazione almeno un pilota di ciascun team deve possedere licenza D 4.0 e iRating 2000.

2. REGOLAMENTO SPORTIVO

2.1 AUTO AMMESSE E RESTRIZIONI

1. Sono ammesse le seguenti auto:
  - LMP2 HPD Arx-01c
  - GT1 Aston martin DBR9
2. Restrizioni
  - LMP2: fuel 75% – 0 kg
  - GT1: fuel 75% – 0K
3. L’organizzazione si riserva ulteriori eventuali bilanciamenti previa comunicazione.

2.2 POSIZIONE FINALE DEI DNF E DQ

1. Ai fini della posizione finale saranno validi solo i piloti indicati come “running”.
2. I piloti DNF (Disconnessi) e DQ (squalificati) saranno collocati in fondo allo schieramento in base al report finale di gara fornito da iRacing.
3. Per quanto non espressamente previsto, si rimanda alle Regole Generali.

2.3 CONDOTTA DI GUIDA

1. Per quanto qui non espressamente previsto, il codice di condotta di guida valido per questo evento è quello adottato da SRL e consultabile qui.
2. SORPASSO
  1. Il pilota della classe più veloce è tenuto a effettuare il sorpasso della classe più lenta in modo da poter aggirare il sorpassato in modo sicuro.
  2. Il pilota della classe più lenta è tenuto a mantenere una linea di gara coerente e prevedibile, nonché a facilitare il sorpasso
  3. Se in fase di sorpasso si ottiene ingiustamente una posizione, come nel caso di sorpasso oltre i limiti della pista o contatto, è possibile evitare penalità restituendo la posizione.
3. LIMITI DELLA PISTA
  1. I limiti della pista sono definiti da iRacing, tuttavia ogni pilota deve rimanere in contatto con la superficie di gara con almeno metà auto in qualsiasi momento.
  2. L’uscita dai limiti della pista è permessa solo nel caso di ingresso / uscita dalla corsia dei box o per evitare un incidente.
4. BLOCKING
  1. E’ vietato spostarsi dalla propria linea di gara in reazione ai movimenti dell’auto inseguitrice, nè cambiare linea in difesa per poi tornare sulla linea di gara nella zona di frenata.
5. GUIDA PERICOLOSA
  1. Il pilota che crea una situazione di pericolo, come, ad esempio, il rientro pericoloso in pista dopo una perdita di controllo o incidente, può essere avvertito o penalizzato.
6. INCIDENTI E TOWING
  1. Nel caso di danni provocati da incidente è responsabilità del pilota la valutazione sulle opportunità di proseguire o meno la gara.
  2. E’ possibile rientrare ai box per le riparazioni completando il giro solo nel caso in cui i danni permettano comunque il controllo completo dell’auto e il suo ritmo non sia inferiore al 50% del passo gara.
  3. Negli altri casi, il conducente è tenuto a richiedere il “towing” nel più breve tempo possibile.

3. COMMISSIONE GARA LIVE

3.1 GENERALITA’

1. Per l’evento sarà presente una commissione di gara live costituita da più steward che monitoreranno l’attività in pista.
2. la commissione di gara ha la capacità di comminare penalità ai piloti in relazione a comportamenti in pista che possono arrecare pregiudizio alla competizione.
3. E’ facoltà degli steward mostrare bandiera nera ai piloti che rappresentino un rischio per gli altri concorrenti, sia per la loro condotta di guida, sia per il passo di gara inferiore del 112% a quello del leader di classe e, anche, per problemi relativi alla sua connessione internet. Il Team sarà avvisato in modo che possa prendere provvedimenti e/o far rientrare ai box la sua auto ed effettuare il cambio pilota. In caso di persistenza dei problemi ravvisati il Team sarà squalificato.

3.2 INCIDENTI

1. La commissione di gara valuterà gli incidenti quando gli steward vi assistono direttamente, quando iRacing registra un contatto (4x) o quando un Team lo segnala.
2. Le decisioni prese dalla commissione di gara saranno pubblicate su un documento online messo a disposizione per tutti i Team e comunicate al Team attraverso messaggio discord.
3. La segnalazione di incidente deve essere inviata dal team entro 15 minuti dal fatto attraverso compilazione del documento online. La segnalazione deve contenere necessariamente:
  - auto coinvolte
  - tipo di incidente
  - timestamp (rilevabile nella toolbar del replay del simulatore)
4. Qualsiasi segnalazione incompleta sarà eliminata senza preavviso.
5. Le segnalazioni che giungeranno negli ultimi 15 minuti di gara saranno valutate nel post gara.
6. Qualsiasi decisione presa dalla commissione di gara è definitiva e insindacabile.
7. Gli eventuali avvisi, penalità, stop&go o stop&hold comminate durante la gara non possono essere appellate né durante né dopo la gara.

3.3 PENALITA’ IN GARA

1. Le penalità inflitte dalla commissione di gara devono essere scontate in regime di bandiera verde.
2. I Team hanno 45 minuti per scontare la penalità.
3. E’ possibile scontare una penalità durante un regolare pit-stop
4. I team devono comunicare agli steward il momento dal quale desiderano scontare la penalità entro tre (3) giri. La commissione gara emetterà quindi la penalità attraverso iRacing.
5. Se la penalità non viene scontata entro 45 minuti, il tempo di penalità verrà raddoppiato.
6. Se la penalità non viene scontata durante la gara, il tempo verrà aggiunto nel post gara.
7. Le penalità comminate generate direttamente dal simulatore non possono essere in nessun modo modificate dalla commissione di gara.

4. CANALE DI COMUNICAZIONE

4.1 COMUNICAZIONI

1. Gli annunci ufficiali da parte della commissione di gara avverranno attraverso iRacing sul canale radio @RACECONTROL.
2. L’uso della chat vocale o di testo sui canali @drivers, @allteams e @club è vietato durante le sessioni di qualifica e di gara.
3. È altresì vietato l’invio di messaggi diretti ad un pilota da parte di un altro partecipante durante le sessioni di qualifiche e di gara.
4. Le penalità per l’uso della chat audio e testuale nelle sessioni di cui sopra è a discrezione degli steward.

4.2 CANALE UFFICIALE

1. Lo strumento ufficiale di comunicazione è il server Discord di Simracingleague raggiungibile a seguente URL: https://discord.gg/GUg5ygX.
2. Prima dell’evento sarà creato un canale per ciascun team
3. Tutti i membri dei Team dovranno essere disponibili sul server durante tutta la gara.
4. Le comunicazioni della commissione di gara avverranno direttamente tramite Discord sul canale del Team.

5. PENALITA'

5.1 SANZIONI

Per le violazioni del codice di condotta di guida verranno applicate sanzioni in tempo da aggiungere al tempo totale di gara
Le durate della penalità sono di massima quelle riportate di seguito, ma possono essere modificata a discrezione degli steward in relazione alle circostanze del fatto e all’eventuale reiterazione del comportamento.
SUPERAMENTO DEI LIMITI DEL TRACCIATO
- 1a infrazione: avvertimento
- 2a violazione: penalità in tempo basata sul fuori pista
GUIDA PERICOLOSA
- 1a infrazione: Avvertimento
- 2a infrazione: 5 secondi di penalità
- 3a violazione e successive: Penalità precedente +10 secondi
RESPONSABILITA’ IN INCIDENTE
- 1a infrazione: Dai 5 ai 60 secondi di penalità in relazione alla gravità del contatto
- 2a violazione: Penalità precedente +30 secondi in relazione alla gravità del contatto

6. PROTEST POST GARA

6.1 MODALITA’ DI RECLAMO – PROTEST

E’ possibile inviare reclamo per un evento in pista non valutato precedentemente anche dopo il termine della gara
Il termine di presentazione del reclamo è di 24 ore successive al giorno di gara (quindi alle 23:59 di domenica 1° dicembre) attraverso email a rc@simracingleague.it da parte dell’indirizzo mail del registrante del team in fase di iscrizione.
Il reclamo dovrà contenere necessariamente:
- Il file di replay riferito all’incidente (non intera sessione)
- una breve descrizione della dinamica.
La commissione di gara esaminerà i reclami e pubblicherà le decisioni attraverso referto ufficiale.
Le penalità post gara possono essere impugnate dal Team sanzionato entro le 24 successive alla pubblicazione del referto. L’appello deve essere inviato a rc@simracingleague.it.

7. PREMI

7.1 PREMI

Al termine dell’evento e dopo la pubblicazione de referti finali, i primi classificati di ogni classe riceveranno, sotto forma di iRacing Dollars i premi corrispondenti.
Il premi sotto citati considerano un totale di 50 Team partecipanti e potranno subire variazioni in relazione al numero di iscritti.
- 1° Class: $ 100
- 2° Class: $ 50
- 3° Class: $ 25
Gli sponsor dell’evento metteranno altresì in palio oggetti e/o buoni sconto per l’acquisto di prodotti, con distribuzione che sarà resa nota successivamente e che potrà basarsi sull’ordine di arrivo finale o su speciali classifiche (es. fair play, best lap etc.)
